Moog in Southampton was founded in 2002 to develop high performance, low cost, fibre optic load measurement technology. Our focus has been on opportunities where the fibre optic technology delivers substantial technical and commercial benefits over conventional technologies such as individual pitch control and Rotor Blade Monitoring Systems Including Rotor Imbalance .   

Formerly known as Insensys, we are now integrated into Moog, strengthening and extending Moog’s range of pitch control solutions for the wind energy industry.   Click here to view the News Release.

Our focus has been on opportunities where the fibre optic technology delivers substantial technical and commercial benefits over conventional load measurement technologies. We supply technology and services to over 75% of the world's leading wind turbine manufacturers and to many leading wind farm owners and operators.

We have sold over 800 load measurement systems and 15,000 sensors into the wind industry in the last 2 years alone.
