Intern Profile: Dan H
Eager to improve his CAD and coding skills, Daniel came to Moog to gain real hands-on experience in a live engineering environment.
Daniel first discovered the internship opportunity on Bright Network, a graduate job and placement website. “I chose Moog because it would give me a greater opportunity to work on automating processes, something which I knew would help me develop the skills I need for my Masters programme,” Daniel said.
Working within the Aircraft Group, Daniel typically works on building models, 3D printing prototype parts and writing up PFMEA (process, failure, mode, effect, and analysis) documents to assess risks with any current and future automated processes.
“Everyone’s been really helpful and friendly so far, and Moog’s got a very welcoming atmosphere,” Daniel continued.
Once his internship is concluded, Daniel will return to the University of Southampton to finish his Masters and work towards chartership.
