Moog now a Test Equipment Engineer joined Moog Aircraft Group as an apprentice straight after finishing school at age 16.  Sophie was inspired by the advertising for apprenticeships she’d seen during her time at Tewkesbury School. As part of the Test Equipment department, Sophie ensures that each test rig is perfectly calibrated – a crucial part of Moog’s product development process

After his apprenticeship ended, Ryan had a limited time to learn everything he needed to become a successful cell leader. However, this helped him take a great step forward in his career at Moog, and is now qualified and working in the Assembly and Test Department at Moog Aircraft Group.

Laura, now a Development Engineer at Moog Aircraft Group, began her apprenticeship at Moog after graduating from local secondary school Tewkesbury School. A talented engineer with a passion for programming, Laura was recently awarded second place at the GTA England Apprentice of the Year awards for Engineering, which received applications from 12,500 young engineers.

Tom joined Moog as an apprentice, but had greater ambitions in mind. Before his apprenticeship finished, he applied for a Junior Design Engineer position within the company but was awarded an Associate role instead, due to his hard work and initiative.
