A student at the University of Leeds, Joshua was looking for an internship that would set him up for a successful transition into his master’s degree, as well as an insight into what a future career could be like.
“I chose Moog because of their amazing work culture and values,” Joshua said. “Since getting here, I’ve found that the atmosphere is very welcoming and people are actually excited to come in on a Monday morning. It’s clear people love working here, especially seeing members of staff that have been here for many years.”
During his time in the Aircraft Group so far, Joshua has been working on lots of different projects and technologies, giving him a good grounding in a range of practical and theoretical applications. “I’ve been given plenty of time to get familiar with the site and I really enjoy finding out what goes on in each plant,” Joshua said.
Collaborating with other interns has been key to Joshua’s experience so far at Moog: “It’s great to be alongside other people at the same level as me, where we’re all learning together, as well as working with such a great team. I’m really looking forward to making a positive impact to the company’s future alongside my fellow interns, while being able to develop the skills I need to successfully complete my master’s degree.”
